Nadia Sheltawy has worked in digital design for over 10 years but decided to indulge her passion for lovely things by retraining as a textile designer. She was inspired to develop a range of products for the home that marry bright modern style with organic natural shapes.
Best Seller
The Bouquet clock is the most successful of all the products she has created and was inspired by the idea of having a bouquet of flowers that would
just last and last. The contrast between shiny
glossy Perspex and the natural organic floral style has won many admirers and happy customers.
Design Process
Folk art from around the world and flowers collected on her travels are the inspiration for her designs. All products are designed and made in the UK.
Sales
Nadia Sheltawy's products are sold through Hidden Art and also through other online boutiques such
as Not On The High Street, Hunkydory Home and mydeco.com.
Lane Crawford in Hong Kong (Hong
Kong's Harvey Nichols), has recently bought products.
Press
Nadia's
work has appeared again and again in the press. Publications have included Grazia, Living etc., Sunday Times Style, Independent Magazine, Grand
Designs, Ideal Home, Red Magazine as well as the Red Direct Catalogue and Stylist Magazine.
